The Quantum Secure Storage (QSS) software package was developed by the parent company Concern GRANIT JSC and is intended for cryptographic protection (ensuring confidentiality and integrity) of information in information security systems.
QSS is focused on the Russian market and implements a set of national Russian cryptographic standards (GOST). It uses the Grasshopper block cipher, the Stribog hash function, and the GOST 34.10-2018 digital signature algorithms based on elliptic curves.
The product has successfully passed cryptographic certification by the Federal Security Service (FSB) as a means of cryptographic information protection.
When working in conjunction with the Quantum Hybrid Base database management system, QSS allows you to protect data, all or selected tables, when placed on disks, including the data itself, indexes, WAL files, TOAST and statistics on tables, as well as binary backups. Information encryption is transparent to the DBMS and has virtually no effect on speed characteristics.
