DBMS Quantum Hybrid Base (QHB) is a big data processing and storage platform

The Quantum Hybrid Base database management system is a general-purpose digital platform applicable to a wide range of customers and is an object-relational database management system (DBMS) for general and special purposes with extended functionality via the use of built-in modules. The Quantum Hybrid Base DBMS can be used as a system-wide software for:

  • government information systems;
  • commercial information systems;
  • trusted technological solutions for the creation of federal and regional government information resources using encryption;
  • protection of critical infrastructure;
  • implementation of effective methods and technologies for information processing and storage;
  • domestic software aimed at solving import substitution problems;
  • innovative domestic software.

The DBMS is listed in the Russian Software Register No. 6212 and has passed the FSTEC certification procedure (FSTEC Certificate No. 4691 dated July 12, 2023). The encryption module is registered in the Russian Software Register and has an FSB certificate (FSB Certificate No. SF/124-4721 dated January 15, 2024).

Confirmed compatibility with 1C.

Confirmed compatibility with T2 software.

Confirmed compatibility with Cyber Backup.

The Quantum Hybrid Base (QHB) is a deep fork of the PostgreSQL open-source solution. A significant part of the kernel source code has been rewritten in the Rust language.

QHB provides full compatibility with applications that support the DBMS PostgreSQL architecture.
It is ready to work on all operating systems based on the Linux kernel (including those certified by FSTEC), while support for Microsoft operating systems is completely excluded at the kernel level for security reasons.
Compliance with the requirements of the regulator: Russian developments and technologies are used, which is necessary for state corporations, state funds, federal executive authorities and large corporate businesses
Data encryption using algorithms according to GOST of the Russian Federation in the QHB is implemented as a means of cryptographic information protection (QMS) Quantum Secure Storage. The QHB with the Quantum Secure Storage database can be used for cryptographic protection of personal data and classified information in government information systems.
Unique functionality that provides tools for fine-tuning DBMS when administrating highly loaded systems with guaranteed data security.
We are the only ones in the Russian Federation who use the Rust programming language in DBMS development, which allows us to provide a new level of reliability and security when working with memory and in concurrent computing.
The QHB is designed with full support for compatibility with PostgreSQL – at the level of network protocols, procedures, drivers, etc. Migration to the QHB does not require additional training for the technical staff of the client, integrator or service partner.
Additional proprietary tools and functions to improve performance, reliability, and usability that are not available in the PostgreSQL database management system
It is possible to use technical resources available on the market, administrators with competencies in PostgreSQL
Professional migration from systems based on opensource solutions and commercial databases of Western vendors
Flexible possibilities of refinement and expansion of DBMS functionality due to the implemented processing of the source code of the DBMS core
A hybrid data model with the ability to store and process both strictly structured tabular data (transactional information) and semi-structured documents (JSON, XML), graphs, and key-value storage within a single system.
High performance and high availability due to the use of modern architectural solutions ensures low latency during read/write operations and fault tolerance.
Horizontal scalability is achieved by adding new servers to the cluster, which allows you to cope with increasing workloads without downtime.
